PRIVACY POLICY
Noyau Wellness Center Online Courses and Continuing Education Programs
Effective date: August 4, 2026
Scope: Noyau Wellness Center’s Thinkific school, online courses, live programs, downloads, assessments, certificates, and related education services
This Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we use it, when we disclose it, how long we keep it, and the choices available to you.
1. Who We Are and What This Policy Covers
Noyau Wellness Center (“Noyau,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides online courses and continuing education programs. This Privacy Policy applies when you visit or use our Thinkific school, create an account, purchase or participate in a course, attend a related live program, complete an assessment or evaluation, request a certificate, contact support, or otherwise use our education services (collectively, the “Education Services”).
This Policy does not govern psychotherapy, counseling, clinical supervision, or other clinical services provided by Noyau. Information collected in connection with clinical services is handled under Noyau’s separate clinical privacy practices and, when applicable, its HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.
Thinkific hosts the online school and processes information to operate the platform. Other service providers may process information for payments, email delivery, analytics, live video, file storage, credential reporting, and similar functions. Their own notices may also apply when you interact directly with their services.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide, information generated through your use of the Education Services, and limited information from service providers or organizations that enroll you. The categories below describe the information we may collect depending on the Course and features you use.

Transaction information | Course purchased, price, payment status, billing address, transaction date, refunds, and payment-plan status. Payment card details are generally handled by the payment processor rather than stored by Noyau. | Process purchases, payments, refunds, accounting, tax, and fraud prevention. |
Course and participation records | Enrollments, login and access history, lessons viewed, time or participation indicators, attendance, quiz or assessment responses and scores, evaluations, completion status, certificates, and accommodation status. | Deliver Courses; measure progress; verify attendance and completion; issue or correct certificates; meet professional and regulatory requirements. |
Communications and submissions | Support messages, survey responses, discussion posts, assignments, feedback, and communications during live programs. | Respond to requests; facilitate learning; moderate discussions; improve Courses; document complaints or appeals. |
Device and usage information | IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, dates and times, approximate location derived from IP address, cookies, and similar technical data. | Operate, secure, troubleshoot, analyze, and improve the Education Services. |

Optional sensitive information | Information you voluntarily provide in an accommodation request or support communication that may reveal health or disability information. | Evaluate and provide reasonable accommodations or respond to your request. Please provide only what is reasonably necessary. |
3. Information We Ask You Not to Provide
Do not upload or disclose protected health information, identifiable client information, clinical records, confidential supervision material, Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive information through a Course, assignment, discussion, chat, evaluation, or support request.
Course examples and discussions should be appropriately de-identified. You are responsible for complying with the privacy, confidentiality, ethical, and legal duties that apply to information about your clients, supervisees, colleagues, or other third parties. If you accidentally submit sensitive information, contact us promptly through the support contact shown on the school site.
4. How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information for the purposes described in this Policy, including to:
Create and administer accounts, enrollments, purchases, and access permissions.
Deliver Course content, assessments, live sessions, downloads, support, and accessibility accommodations.
Track participation, verify identity and completion, issue certificates, correct records, and investigate suspected account sharing or academic-integrity issues.
Maintain continuing education and business records and, when applicable, report completion information to a licensing board, certifying body, CE reporting system, employer, or sponsoring organization.
Process payments, refunds, taxes, accounting, and payment disputes.
Send transactional messages such as receipts, access instructions, schedule changes, policy notices, support responses, and certificate information.
Send marketing communications when permitted and manage subscriptions and communication preferences.
Analyze use, improve Courses, troubleshoot problems, protect security, prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, and comply with law.
5. How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information to the following recipients for the purposes described below. We do not allow service providers to use personal information for unrelated purposes merely because they receive it from us.
Platform and technology providers, including Thinkific, that host, secure, maintain, or support the Education Services.
Payment processors, banks, and fraud-prevention providers that process purchases, refunds, payment plans, and disputes.
Email, live-video, analytics, file-storage, customer-support, and other vendors that perform services for us.
Licensing boards, certifying bodies, continuing education reporting systems, auditors, or program sponsors when reporting is required, authorized, or reasonably necessary to verify credit.
An employer or organization that purchased or sponsored your enrollment, but only as disclosed at enrollment, authorized by you, or otherwise permitted by law. Information may include enrollment, attendance, completion, or certificate status. Assessment responses or scores will not be shared unless reasonably necessary and disclosed or required.
Professional advisers, insurers, auditors, regulators, courts, law enforcement, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or establish or defend legal claims.
A buyer, successor, or other party involved in a proposed or completed merger, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or transfer of the Education Services, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
6. Sale, Targeted Advertising, and Profiling
As of the effective date, Noyau does not sell personal data for money. We do not use personal data for targeted advertising or profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects, as those terms are defined by the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act.
If our practices change, we will update this Policy and provide any notice, consent, or opt-out method required by applicable law. Routine use of service providers to operate the Education Services is not treated as a sale when the provider processes information under appropriate restrictions.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Education Services and our providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies. These technologies may be used to keep you signed in, remember settings, process transactions, protect accounts, understand site performance, diagnose problems, measure engagement, and support communications.
The particular cookies used depend on the Thinkific features and other services currently enabled. You can manage many cookies through your browser settings and any cookie controls displayed on the site. Blocking essential cookies may prevent account login, checkout, progress tracking, or other features from working correctly. Where required by law, we will honor legally recognized opt-out signals or provide a method to manage nonessential technologies.
8. Email and Other Communications
We may send transactional communications needed to administer your account or Course. You generally cannot opt out of essential transactional messages while enrolled, although you may close your account subject to retention and contractual requirements.
Marketing emails will include an unsubscribe method. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop receipts, security alerts, support responses, certificate notices, or other transactional messages. We will send marketing text messages only with the consent required by law, and consent to marketing is not a condition of purchase unless clearly disclosed and legally permitted.
9. Continuing Education Records
To document attendance, completion, and professional credit, we may retain your legal name, contact information, profession or credential information, Course title and date, participation or assessment records, evaluation, certificate information, and related communications.
We may use and disclose these records to issue replacement certificates, respond to audits, investigate suspected fraud, correct errors, meet provider requirements, and make authorized or required reports. Because professional education records may need to remain verifiable after account closure, some records may be retained longer than ordinary account data.
10. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including while your account is active and for periods needed to maintain CE records, complete transactions, provide certificates, comply with tax and professional requirements, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect security.
Retention periods vary by information type and legal obligation. When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete it, de-identify it, or retain it in a limited archive where deletion is not technically feasible, subject to appropriate safeguards. A deletion request may not require us to delete information that law permits or requires us to retain.
11. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. These measures may include access controls, secure service providers, encryption supported by the platform or payment processor, staff or contractor confidentiality requirements, backups, monitoring, and incident-response procedures.
No online system, transmission, or storage method is completely secure. You are responsible for using a strong, unique password, protecting your device and login credentials, signing out of shared devices, and notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorized access. If a security incident triggers a legal notification duty, we will provide notice as required by applicable law.
12. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to:
Confirm whether we process your personal information and obtain access to it.
Correct inaccuracies in your personal information.
Request deletion of personal information you provided or that we obtained about you.
Obtain a portable copy of certain personal information.
Opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, or certain profiling if we engage in those activities.
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Appeal a decision we make concerning an eligible privacy request.
You may also update certain account details through your account, unsubscribe from marketing using the link in an email, and manage cookies through available controls or your browser.
13. How to Submit a Privacy Request
Submit a request using the current support email address or contact form displayed on Noyau’s Thinkific school or official website. Use the subject line “Privacy Request” and include your name, the email address associated with your account, the state or country where you live, and the right you wish to exercise. Do not send a password, payment-card number, government identification number, or client information.
We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity and authority before acting on a request. We will use information provided for verification only for that purpose. An authorized agent may submit a request when permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and direct identity confirmation from the consumer.
We will respond within the period required by applicable law. If we deny an eligible request, our response will explain the basis and, when required, how to appeal. To appeal, reply to the decision or use the same contact method with the subject line “Privacy Appeal.” We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
14. Children’s Privacy
The Education Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. Our Terms require users to be at least 18 years old unless Noyau expressly authorizes a different arrangement. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 through the Education Services. If you believe a child has provided information without legally sufficient authorization, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
15. International Users
Noyau is based in the United States, and personal information may be processed or stored in the United States, Canada, or other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have privacy laws different from the laws where you live.
When privacy law requires a legal basis for processing, we generally process information as needed to perform a contract with you, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests such as operating and securing the Education Services, or based on consent. Where required, we will use an appropriate mechanism for international transfers and provide applicable rights.
16. Third-Party Links and Services
A Course or school page may link to websites, applications, articles, videos, or other resources controlled by third parties. This Policy does not govern a third party’s independent collection or use of information. Review the privacy notice of any third-party service before providing personal information.
17. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, providers, Courses, or business practices. The revised Policy will be posted with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how we use previously collected personal information, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by law.
18. Contact Us
Questions, concerns, privacy requests, and appeals should be submitted through the current support email address or contact form displayed on Noyau Wellness Center’s Thinkific school or official website. Include enough information for us to understand and respond to the request, but do not include client-identifying information, protected health information, passwords, or full payment-card details.
